Do you all remember my Healthy Homemade Bisquick? (If not, click here, to get the recipe.) Well, you can put it to good use and make some yummy biscuits. If you have already mixed up my healthy mix, this is a quick and simple THREE ingredient recipe. These biscuits puff up tall and are golden brown on the outside, while soft and tender on the inside. They are definitely a wonderful, healthy alternative to the original Bisquick version. You will feel good about feeding your family with “Pure and Simple” ingredients.
Spelt Flour Bisquick Biscuits
These biscuits are made with my Homemade Healthy Bisquick. They are golden brown on the outside and have that soft & tender inside. Add some butter and breakfast never tasted so good!
Equipment
- Oven
Ingredients
- 2 Cups Healthy Homemade Bisquick Mix (link to recipe in notes)
- 1/2 Cup Coconut milk or any milk
- 1 Egg
- Extra Spelt flour for dusting and kneading dough
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. I always start out by measuring the milk and mixing the egg in my milk. Now, in a large mixing bowl, put homemade bisquick, milk & egg in bowl and mix well. When mixed up, transfer the biscuit dough to a floured surface. Knead the dough, while dusting with flour. When it is no longer sticky, take a biscuit cutter (the top of a glass works fine) and cut out biscuits. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Put them in a 400 degree oven for 15-17 minutes
