Favorite Chocolate Protein Shake Recipe (Free of Gluten, Dairy & Soy protein)

I LOVE chocolate shakes! A few years ago, I was on the hunt for a protein shake that was free of gluten, dairy, and soy. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I wanted it to taste GOOD! I went to the nearest health food markets and painfully, read all the labels. When I found acceptable ingredients, I bought the sample packages to try. I tried one that was all green. After I was done mixing it up it literally tasted like grass….no kidding!! I think they made a mistake and it was really for the cows, LOL! I think, I went through 5 or 6 with about the same results. My Husband was now frightened, every time I came home wanting him to try another one. We pretty much thought it was a lost cause to ever find something that was healthy AND taste good.

It wasn’t until my husband’s cousin was selling Arbonne and I had a party for her to show me their facial care and make-up products. She happened to bring the shake mixes along and made them for us to try. I was so impressed and figured by the taste that it had to contain something we couldn’t have. Guess what? It is free of gluten, dairy, and soy! We were hooked and have been drinking these wonderful shakes for about 8 years. My kids absolutely love these! I signed up that night to be a Preferred Client so I could get a discount on the shakes. That has been the best thing I have ever done. My kids all love them and when you add coconut milk, frozen blueberries & strawberries to the shake, it literally tastes like a Chocolate milk shake with ice cream! I am not exaggerating….they are WONDERFUL and Heaven in a cup! Arbonne has Chocolate & Vanilla flavors, along with seasonal flavors from time to time, that are usually so good! You should try them ASAP!

It is hard to find such a clean, healthy product, that actually tastes great!

This chocolate protein shake not only tastes amazing, but it is free of Gluten, Dairy, and Soy. It is Vegan protein and easy to digest.

  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Frozen Wild Blueberries (I use Wal-Mart Great Value Wild Blueberries. They are smaller and better for a shake)
  • 1/2 cup Frozen sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup coconut milk Any milk works fine
  • 2 scoops Arbonne Chocolate Protein Shake

Instructions
 

  • Place frozen fruit in your shake cup, add milk. Next add in your protein powder. Blend until all is mixed up well. Pour in a cup, add a straw and you are ready to enjoy your shake!

Notes

**You can use whatever fruit you like.  This one is just my favorite blend.  I will be posting other protein shake recipes, so stay tuned…:) **
 
The best Blender I have found is a Ninja Pro and it comes with 2 individual shake cups.  I would highly recommend it!!  I have had mine for about 3 years.
